In a speech during the 70th session of the United Nations general assembly President Obama stated that the US is ready and willing to work with Russia and Iran to solve the Syrian crises. Obama has promised the to work with the international community saying the US ““by itself, cannot impose stability on a foreign land, unless we work with other nations.”
“And unless we work together to defeat the ideas that drive different communities in a country like Iraq into conflict, any order that our military’s can impose will be temporary,” the US president added.
This speech marks a change in tactics by the US administration. We seen it coming as the media and politicians began to change their tone in regards to Syria and the Syrian government. Tho i am weary of certain country’s true intentions in Syria this co-operation between Russia, Iran and most possibly Syria will safe guard the government and the President of Syria’s position. This most likely will be at least until a transitional period can begin which has been continually said by both the US, UK establishments.
