Tomorrow the 12th of February will see protests outside Belfast city hall, the protest has been called, as an emergency in light of the death of yet another person living on the streets.
Help 4 Homeless held a vigil for Jimmy last night which was beautiful, many arrived to show their respect. Jimmy died while living rough on the streets of Belfast. He was buried today and had a great send off, he would have been proud.
In the last few months, there has been deaths on our streets, these deaths could have been prevented if we had the facilities to do so. People are angry and want real action taken by those in power to help deal with the homeless crises that is currently happening, and it is happening at an alarming rate.
Pressure needs to be put on the politicians to take direct action and address the crises at hand, people are dying in the streets!
