The UDA recruitment poster caused outrage as passers by drove past it. The poster was located between Newtonstewart and Sion Mills.
The poster in the picture above was put up in recent days which has caused outrage, condemnation came from Unionist and Nationalist politicians aswell as passers by.
The poster read “Your country needs you”. The poster read: “Ask yourself this question. When the battle is won, will I be able to stand and be counted amongst the men who won it?
“Make sure the answer is yes! Join your local unit of the UDA. Your country needs you.”
In a time where the UDA is supposed to be on a ceasefire and trying to shed the old skin of the past, this poster does not come as a surprise, but as usual nothing will be done.M
