It is now confirmed without a doubt that US led coalition forces embeded with Kurdish forces are nearly struck by Syrian airforce strikes.
Over the past 5 years it was always only a question of time before ‘boots were on the ground’, we have seen much evidence to prove that US led coalition forces are on the ground.
The situation over the 5 years has went back and forth with foresights of the fall of the Syrian government to the extremist groups being pushed right into a corner, it has been a truly bloody war, millions have been displaced and thousands killed.
For the duration of the Syrian conflict there has been consistant calls by the Syrian government for an end to the support of extremist groups on the fringes of Islamic state by Western backers.
We have had the usual talk of ‘Moderates’ and ‘freedom fighters’ taking up the mantle of carrying on the ‘revolution’ and fighting to topple a Dictator.
This is a narrative played out across the airwaves and TV screens, this paints a picture that could not be further from the truth, this is not implying that there were not true intentions from ordinary people when the conflict began, but the conflict was muddyed from the outset.
For over a decade and a half there have been plans to destablize the Middle East and afar from Ukraine to Syria all the way to Libya.
We covered the disscusion with General Wessley Clark in past articles, he disscuses the plan of overthrowing Governments and the plan to reach Iran.
Back on point, US military are now confirmed without a doubt to be on the ground in Syria. The situation has escalated with a direct warning to Syria and Russia from the new US commander of troops in Iraq and Syria.
“We’ve informed the Russians where we’re at … (they) tell us they’ve informed the Syrians, and I’d just say that we will defend ourselves if we feel threatened,” Lt. Gen. Stephen Townsend
A clear warning, but what is not so clear is the future of the situation in Syria, with American special forces operating on the ground ‘warning’ they will defend themselves if they feel threatened by either Russia or Syria this is certainly a recipe for disaster.
